About Anandham Youth Foundation

Fulfilling the dreams of underprivileged rural students, Anandham Youth Foundation has been at the forefront of educational transformation. We provide 100 % financial support for the underprivileged students who have scored brilliantly in their examinations but cannot incur the cost of higher education. Our aim is not only uplift the lesser privileged students but also get them out of the poverty cycle. We strive to make them confident citizens and respectable members of society by our continues life skill training programs.

Anandham has touched the lives of around 980 + students studying in MBBS, Engineering, Arts & Science and various other streams across Tamilnadu in prestigious institutions.

Anandham Youth Foundation is a registered trust under the Trusts Act (Reg. No: 452/12) with 80G certification and CSR form-1 complaint. Anandham Foundation and our Founder Selvakumar is the recipient of Dr.APJ. Abdul Kalam award, the highest recognition by Tamilnadu State Government for contributions in humanities and students’ welfare.

Our Story

We are a team of likeminded friends from humble backgrounds of our rural villages. Leading a contented life in the city, giving back to society is always close to our hearts. From year 2002 we conducted many life skills & value based educational programs, and managed to reach out to 70,000+ students from various schools and colleges.

Working in the grassroots level, we felt the pain of more than 2 Lacs students discontinue their education due to poverty in Tamilnadu. We realized the need to do something positive, substantial, with a measurable and lasting impact on human lives. Thus, the Anandham Youth Foundation was born in 2012.

Our History

Fueled by a passion to empower the youth, a team of bright, young, and like-minded friends established Anandham. As a group that has seen its own share of ups and downs and worked its way up the corporate ladder, we have been determined to give back to society.

Driving Our Vision Forward Through Various Initiatives

We believe that dreams can be achieved through humble beginnings. Our numerous motivational and life skill programs have helped us reach out to 10,000+ students in schools and colleges. As we delved deeper, we realised that underprivileged rural students are equal to other students in terms of capabilities but fall short when it comes to getting access to higher education. Thus, Anandham decided to champion the cause of aiding the education of rural students.

Today, the foundation is supporting 100+ students in various advanced courses ranging from MBBS and Engineering to Arts and Sciences.
